Interactive 3D Configurator

Description:

Created forAmiston – a manufacturer of PV structures and carports – we developed a desktop sales application with a 3D configurator ESI Planer that enables project creation directly on the customer’s site plan. The tool was designed for sales representatives and designers, allowing them to quickly and professionally tailor constructions to the terrain conditions and client preferences.

ESI Planer – 3D Configurator adapted to real-world conditions

The core feature of the application is the 3D configurator, which allows users to create personalized carport designs. Users can choose the type of structure, adjust its size, panel type, and colors, and automatically select configurations based on terrain such as ground slope and sun exposure. Thanks to the map or image calibration function, projects are created directly on the client’s map or site photo.

Interactive product presentation for customers

The application also serves as an interactive product presentation tool. With both 2D and 3D modes, sales representatives can showcase projects in a clear and engaging way. The 2D mode allows for precise measurements and layout planning. In contrast, the 3D mode offers a full visual presentation of the structure, including environment, vehicles, weather conditions, and shading. The ability to generate realistic previews significantly increases client engagement and facilitates purchasing decisions.

App features and backend integration

The application is fully integrated with Amiston’s backend system. It supports login, project versioning, quote calculations, and data retrieval. The built-in quoting system automatically calculates costs based on selected parameters, streamlining the sales process and minimizing the risk of errors.
