Description:

Modern multimedia for trade shows – interactive product showcase

At major industry trade shows in 2022 and 2024, we delivered a comprehensive multimedia solution for FAMUR S.A., designed to showcase the company’s evolving industrial portfolio. Combining a touchscreen product catalogue, immersive VR stations, and advanced 3D visualizations, the booth provided an engaging, technology-driven way to communicate FAMUR’s shift toward renewable energy, digital tools, and training systems.

Touchscreen product catalogue – now including renewable energy solutions

A central part of the booth was an interactive touchscreen catalogue that let visitors explore not only mining equipment, but also FAMUR Group’s innovations in wind turbine gearboxes and photovoltaic systems. The intuitive interface offered a structured and engaging way to navigate the company’s full product range.

VR stations with ready-to-use training scenarios

We installed several VR demo stations where visitors could explore realistic maintenance scenarios drawn from an existing implementation of BellVR at the SIGMA service center. This setup demonstrated how VR technology can be used not just for internal training, but also for interactive trade show experiences.

Miniature replica of the SIGMA VR training room

To give a broader perspective, the booth also featured a scaled-down version of the actual SIGMA VR training space. Visitors could experience both roles – the trainee and the instructor – and understand how VR-based upskilling tools work in practice.

Exploded 3D model of a wind turbine gearbox

Using the BellVR engine, we built a fully interactive 3D exploded model of a wind turbine gearbox. Visitors could separate its components, study the internal structure, and explore how it works. The experience was enhanced with animated movements and technical data overlays, offering both educational and promotional value.
